The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers has granted NABH accreditation to Yenepoya Speciality Hospital, Kodialbail, with effect from January 8.
A release said Yenepoya is among 491 hospitals that got accreditation out of 1,200-plus applicant hospitals across the country.
The hospital introduced significant changes to improve patient safety and quality of healthcare towards achieving NABH accreditation, the release said. Commitment to create a culture of quality, patient safety, efficiency and accountability towards patient care was the primary ingredient to get the accreditation.
